Twenty-eight years of learning together

Founded by teachers, for families

Greenfield began with two rented classrooms in Kathmandu and sixty children. Local teachers who believed that a school could be both demanding and kind built it, one year at a time.

We teach in small classes of 25 so that every student is seen, heard and stretched. Our mission is to give each child strong knowledge, good habits and the confidence to use both.

1998
Two classrooms, sixty children
Greenfield opens in Kathmandu with Nursery to Grade 2.
2006
Our own campus
The school moves to its present site with a library and science lab.
2012
Secondary years complete
The first Grade 10 batch sits board examinations; Mrs. Sunita Sharma becomes principal.
2018
Arts and sports wing
A music room, art studio and indoor court open for students.
2024
1,200 students
Greenfield reaches 1,200 students and 60 teachers while keeping classes at 25.

Principal
M.Ed., 24 years in education. Leads the school's vision and knows every Grade 10 student by name.

Vice Principal
Oversees discipline, timetabling and the secondary school.

Plans the curriculum, assessments and teacher training across all grades.

Former national-level footballer who runs our house system and teams.
